The cable tools in the Vectorworks Spotlight program allow entertainment industry professionals to plan and draw cable runs, estimate required parts, and prepare the number and types of cables required for a site.
Two available suites of tools and commands assist you with creating the diagrams and paperwork needed for electrical cabling work:
● Preview Cable Suite: A preview of the future suite of cable tools and commands is included in this version. This suite has all of the features of the original cable tools merged into a single Cable tool, with additional functionality for 3D workflows and integration with Braceworks.
● Original Cable Suite: The suite of cable tools that has been included in Vectorworks up to this point is still available and can be used; however, in future versions, the features of these cables will be merged with the preview suite, and this suite will eventually become legacy.
